Warm Greetings from Southern CaliforniaHi! We're Matt Carroll and Kristin Wiberg. We created this website especially for anyone with an unintended pregnancy who is considering the option of adoption.
Life takes wildly unexpected twists and turns, doesn't it? We know you have important choices ahead and that whatever you decide to do, it will be the best path for your child, and for you. Thank you for considering the compassionate and courageous choice of open adoption. We feel so grateful we may be able to build our family with the honesty and love that every child deserves. Today, families take all different shapes and sizes, and they come together in different ways. Our child will always have a deep connection with his or her family of origin, and we would encourage as much contact as you would like.
We are open-minded, curious, adventurous, and responsible people who really want to share all the love we have with a child, and to encourage a little one in learning and growing along life's winding path. A Bit About Us:Even though we lived just about a mile apart, we found each other on the web in 2001 and were married in 2004. It didn't take us long to realize that we had many shared values and interests, such as watching films, debating politics, and eating good, healthy food. Mostly, we really just enjoy being with each other.
We also share a love for the ocean. Matt is a surfer, and Kristin likes to build sand castles and watch for dolphins. Matt uses his great eye for finding beauty in unexpected places as a photographer and gardener. And Kristin is very social and spends most of her free time connecting with friends. Fortunately, we both have good jobs that we enjoy. Kristin works as a senior administrator at a small college and gets a lot out of being in an environment with many smart, interesting people. Matt runs his own internet marketing business from home and loves working in both analytical and creative modes. We both enjoy activities that help us learn about new people or places, such as reading, going to museums, or volunteering in the community. We especially like to travel; recently, we've had adventures in Guatemala, Ireland, Korea, and Turkey. We hike, bike, do yoga, and swim together regularly, and we love having a good meal with a few friends. Doing all of these things as a family will not just be fun, they will also contribute to our daughter or son's healthy development.
