Looking Forward to Parenthood

Honesty and trust are important to us, and we know that the best way to teach these values to our child is to live them ourselves. We also believe that it is important to provide affection, stability, and lots of encouragement. We can't wait for adventures like singing silly songs in the car, splashing in the bath, examining caterpillars up close, giving surfing lessons (on small waves!), finger-painting with wild colors, and ending each day with a bedtime story.

When our baby is born, we both plan to take time off to bond with our son or daughter. We will take turns staying home with our baby, who will also have a fun grandmom close by who is eager to help.
